GRAND BANKS MOTOR YACHT JOINS SOUTHWEST FLORIDA YACHTS’ CHARTER FLEET
“Miss Evie” Offers Cruising in Style for a Family or Group of Friends
Cape Coral, Florida – (May 20, 2014) – “Miss Evie” – a Grand Banks 42 Motor Yacht – has joined
the Southwest Florida Yachts charter fleet based at Tarpon Point Marina here.
“Aboard ‘Miss Evie’ you will cruise the waters off Southwest Florida in style,” said Southwest
Florida Yachts’ Co-Owner Barb Hansen. “With three cabins and two heads, this vessel is the
perfect home afloat for a family or a group of friends. She is built in the fine tradition of Grand
Banks Yachts with superb craftsmanship and attention to detail.”
Each of the three sleeping cabins and main salon are well appointed and air conditioned. The
galley-up layout features a four-burner electric stove and convection microwave oven plus a
refrigerator with freezer. The dinette is L-shaped with seating for 6. The yacht also has a rail
mounted Magma charcoal grill. “Miss Evie” has two heads with showers and a handheld shower
on her swim platform.
Entertainment options include two color TV’s and an AM/FM Stereo with 10 CD changer and
speakers on the bridge.
Power comes from twin Ford Lehman SP 135 FWC diesels. “Miss Evie” is equipped with a
Comnav Marine 1001 Autopilot, Westerbeke 8kw diesel generator, GPS, VHF radios on the
lower helm and flybridge, radar and compasses on both along with depth sounders on each, too.
Cruisers have the option of flybridge seating with cushions or deck chairs on the bridge.
Winter rates through April 30 for chartering “Miss Evie” are $5,046 per week. Summer charters
are $4,036 weekly. Charterers this year qualify for Southwest Florida Yachts’ 30-year
anniversary “present” which for charters of three-days or longer through the summer season,
which ends December 14, enjoy two free days.
