Anaesthetists share pearls of wisdom in Hong Kong More than 2000 anaesthetists, pain medicine specialists and trainees from Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong and beyond will discuss the latest innovations in anaesthetic practice and pain management at a scientific meeting in Hong Kong this week. Titled “Seeking the Dragon Pearl”, the Combined Scientific Meeting of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA), the Faculty of Pain Medicine (FPM) and the Hong Kong College of Anaesthesiologists (HKCA) will provide a stimulating program of expert talks on the latest advances in this area. Internationally renowned speakers from the US, Canada and the UK will be joined by Australian, New Zealand and Chinese experts to discuss a range of topics including obstetric anaesthesia, ultrasound-guided anaesthesia, traditional Chinese medicine, training, ethics, improved patient care, environmentally-friendly initiatives and the use of new technology.
