Post-Secondary Enrollment Options Program (PSEOP) Meeting Thursday, Feb. 3 7:00 p. m. WMHS Library The Watkins Memorial guidance office will hold a meeting outlining the requirements for participation in Ohio’s Post-Secondary Enrollment Options Program (PSEOP) on Thursday, February 3 at 7:00 p.m. in the high school library. PSEOP allows a student to attend college while still in high school, at no cost to the student or parent, and to receive both high school and college credit for the courses taken at the college. It is intended as an enrichment program for those students who have exhausted their options with their high school curriculum. It is mandated by the state of Ohio that any student who wants to participate in this program must attend this meeting with his/her parent or guardian. The purpose of the meeting will be to explain the benefits and risks of participating in PSEOP, as well as, the specifics of how to make it happen. Any high school student interested in participating in PSEOP for the 2011-12 school year, who has not attended such a meeting, must attend with a parent or guardian. Note: Open to grades 9-12 only (2011-2012 school year)
