All of them.
Practical and useful databases. Save search time. Good search tips! Auto alerts
system. CISTI Source login account.
Being able to run through a few examples of the info was useful, as the material was
run through quite quickly and I wouldn’t have retained as much without doing it.
Ejournals, RACER, CISTI, database.
Email alerts, citing history, and databases are things I don’t know.
Email alerts.
Good overview and introduction and [virtual] example.
Cite referencing, CISTI searching, RACER.
Ability to search large databases for specific information.
Understanding how to have journal emailed to me. Finding out about TUGdoc.
Databases.
Trying out the web pages, exposure to Web of Science, CISTI, RACER.
Keeping search history.
Alerts, database info, CISTI and RACER.
CISTI, Ejournals.
Everything was extremely useful.
Email alerts, intro to Web of Science, overview of RACER.
All of them were valuable.
Email alerts through Scholars Portal and Web of Science.

It was all necessary.
None.
N/A
I did not find anything unnecessary.
Nothing.
Maybe the technique should be shown on a website. The time of the session is so
limited, so the speed is maybe a little rapid. Sometimes I forget the steps of search.
Handouts – easy to follow. Contact emails.
I would like to see the process more interactive, having participants do each step as it
is being taught. I often felt like I wouldn’t remember how to get to each stage, but
didn’t have time to be trying it with the example being given.
Good enough.
The workshop could be held at the beginning of the term.
Better computers. A few handouts showing the process for each search process
would be helpful.
More time to play.
Was great as is. Timing was perfect. Maybe sooner in the term.
Quick review of a basic search.
Step-by-step instructions.
Don’t necessarily need so much time practising. Slides on screen were useful, but
hard to read.
Add a little on starting a literature review.
Faster computers!
More details. More clear slides.
Recommend it to all grad students/employees immediately when they start the
program. I found out about it almost by chance, by word of mouth. I could have
used it earlier if I had known.
Maybe the time is a little short to cover all the information.
Provide handout with bit more info on presented material.
Are there any other workshops we could offer to graduate students?

The efficiency about keywords, topic search skill.
I’d love to see a workshop on the library’s usefulness for networking grads to others
in their field.
Governance file and international organization file.
Microsoft access workshop.
Review of how to do “good” searches.
Literature research.
Citation programs.
Searching – basic hints and tips for new grads from universities that may not have
covered this.
Thanks. Good luck with your Fall term!
