What study leave have you taken and what courses have you attended: Strongly agree The GPStR is often asked to obtain consent for a procedure they are not competent to perform (a) There is a relevant, accessible, timetabled Trust induction process (b) There is no departmental induction process (c) There are well-organised handover arrangements ensuring continuity of patient care at the start and end of periods of shifts (d) I have no educational plan or it is not linked to the curriculum (e) There are 4 hours of high quality protected teaching time available every week (f) Informal teaching is a chore and ignored unless absolutely necessary (g) There are regular formative assessments made against the curriculum (you should have at least one every 3 months) (h) There is access to a library and educational resources including internet access at the workplace which enable the outcomes of the post to be met (j) Getting study leave is impossible because of workload (k) Clinical supervision is excellent and appropriate for experience and competence (l) It is often difficult to either identify or access those responsible for clinical supervision.
