This collection of 104 photographs includes images of several Spanish cities. Although the city of Toledo is particularly well illustrated, the collection includes images of other locations, such as Barcelona, Madrid, Granada, Burgos, Valencia and Murcia. These views pay attention to general cityscapes but also to particular places in the city, monuments, and public and private buildings. There are samples of architectural details. A few landscapes are also to be found in this collection. These views illustrate Spain from the Roman period to the nineteenth century. Furthermore, the collection includes several portraits, most of them of unidentified individuals. Particularly interesting is the small group of portraits of toreadors.
