Tracing the Perpetrators Who Abducted a Four-year-old Girl, Zhang Yuanyuan, in Tongnan County, Chongqing City (CHQ-0012, June 2, 2004) Zhang Yuanyuan was born on July 16, 1999. She lived at No. 29 Wachangwan, Zitong Town, Tongnan County, Chongqing City. Her father is Zhang Hongxu and her mother is Wu Yongmei. Around January 1, 2004, four police officers from Tongnan County National Security Team led by head policeman Zhang Liang abducted four-year-old Zhang Yuanyuan. Her whereabouts are unknown. Zhang Yuanyuan’s parents are persecuted because they practice Falun Gong. In February 2002 when Zhang Yuanyuan was seven months old, perpetrator Zhang Liang sent her father Zhang Hongxu to Xishanping Labor Camp, where he was brutally tortured. His nose was broken, his teeth were knocked out, and his ribs were injured from beating. In October 2000, Zhang Liang conspired with the “610 Office” and tried to abduct Zhang Hongxu and send him to a brainwashing class. Zhang Hongxu was forced to leave home to avoid illegal arrest. On the afternoon of December 23, 2003, Zhang Yuanyuan’s mother Wu Yongmei was abducted by Zhang Liang. She was brutally tortured in prison. She held a hunger strike for 54 days and was on the brink of death, at which point she was finally released. This case involves abduction of a child, which is a violation of the International Child Protection Act. WOIPFG will investigate the direct and indirect participants of this abduction and will expose them to the world, condemn this inhuman crime, and deliver facts and evidence to international courts, human rights organizations and foreign governments to expose the perpetrators’ persecution of Falun Gong. At the same time we will deliver their criminal records to foreign customs and immigration bureaus. WOIPFG was founded on January 20, 2003. Its goal is to help and coordinate just groups and legal/law organizations to investigate all perpetrators who persecuted Falun Gong, to assist in bringing the perpetrators to justice and punish them, to warn the world’s people about the persecution.
