Youth With A Mission (YWAM) is......
an
international
and
interdenominational orgnaization
presenting Jesus Christ, mobilizing
as many as possible to help in this
task, and training and equipping
believers for their part in fulfilling
the Great Commission.
3
"To know God and make Him known"
Youth With A Mission's Beginning
YWAM began in 1960 with a
young man, Loren Cunningham,
and a vision. He saw in front of
him
a map of the
world
with
waves crashing
into
the
continents,
advancing inland
until
all
the
nations
were
covered.
The
waves
became
young people of
all ages, talking
to people on
street corners,
going from
house to house,
helping the
4
lonely, feeding
the hungry, and
leading them to
a relationship
with Jesus.
Loren Cunningham - Founder YWAM
"YWAM...they do things and it's worth
writing about. Even more, it's worth
supporting! Even more, it's worth
joining."
-Brother AndrewOpen Doors, Harderwilk, Holland

The Reality Of The Vision
 In 1997 alone YWAM had over
10,000 full-time staff and
240,000 short-term missionaries.
 Currently there are 531
operating centers in 128 nations.
 YWAM is one of the largest
mission sending organizations in
the world.
 YWAM has involved over 1
million people in missions since
its beginning in 1960.
6
3 Methods Of Action
YWAM embraces three methods of
action, ways which we believe God
has given us to be a part of the goal
of taking the Gospel to the whole
earth.
EVANGELISM
TRAINING
MERCY MINISTRY
7
Evangelism
Spreading God's message
According to the latest statistics
90% of children are born into
families who will never hear about
Jesus without help from outside
influence.
There are 1 million
children born every 5 days in the
world who will not hear about Jesus
unless someone from outside their
family goes to them.
Over 200
diverse branches of ministry focus
on bringing this generation to
relationship with Christ.
8
Youth With A Mission embraces
every opportunity for evangelism
YWAM Campaigns is an expression of YWAM's heart cry of
evangelism

the University of the Nations (U of N),
which has 140 branch campuses spread
throughout the world. The University
offers 7 areas of study, each one
equipping the student to become an

Mercy Ministries earn the right for the Gospel to be
heard by demonstrating the love of God to the poor
and needy.
A fleet of Mercy Ships is the

expression
of
Mercy
Ministries.
One ship has living
quarters for 450 people and a
hospital with 3 operating rooms
which is able to treat 35 patients.
These mercy workers deliver millions

The Impact World Tour
America, Scandinavia, Australia, India, Brazil and Beyond
The Impact World Tour provides opportunity and focus
God’s people have the opportunity to come together and seek the
Lord for the welfare of their community and the salvation of their
family and friends. It provides an effective and relevant means for
the local church to express Christ’s message of hope. Using
international performing arts, sporting and musical groups in
campaign style evangelism, Impact World Tour provides a focal point
for Christian witness in regions throughout America and beyond.
Impact World Tour has 3 broad aims:
 …to strengthen existing church ministries.
Several months
before the actual events, directors will be networking with local
pastors, churches and business leaders to maximize local
involvement in all events.
 …to help reach the lost in an area. In partnership with local
churches, we’ll pray and work to fulfill the Great Commission,
incorporating the use of teams like “Heal Our Land”, Team
Extreme, GX-Jam and Island Breeze.
 …to challenge America with a call to missions. From the days of
the pioneers, America has produced some of the finest and most
dedicated missionaries.
Impact World Tour is more than an event!
The exciting prayer strategies, the maximized involvement of local
Christians in planning and preparations, the seminars on personal
growth and revival, the encouragement and facilitation of personal
16
friendship evangelism, workshops on counseling and the
comprehensive follow-up program, all work together to bring forth
lasting fruit. It’s a 10-12 month process that aims to make a lasting
impact in peoples lives, churches and communities.
.

The Impact World Tour
Consists of 3 Phases
 Phase One - Awakening
is designed to arouse and unite the churches in a
target region. Christians are challenged to unity
and prayer.

Phase Two - Evangelism
A siries of campaign meetings that employ a host of
evangelistic tools geared to presenting the Gospel in
a variety of stimulating, contemporary ways without
compromising the message.
 Phase Three - Follow-up &
Discipleship
Designed to ensure each new believer is nurtured and
is encouraged to attend a church prepared for new
Christians. Evangelism also continues in Phase
Three. In less developed nations this includes
18
church planting, literacy traiing, medical missions
and Bible training of future leaders.
19
PHASE ONE
Revive America Seminar
"...It's time for America to be stirred again
in its 'apostolic call' to be a lighthouse to
the world... It must see a restoration of
values that made it great."
-Loren Cunningham-
Revival must come. But how?
The keys to revival are the same in each
generation:
Spiritual hunger
 Humble prayer
 Repentance

The beginning place is within the
Church. The question is, will we
allow God to begin this work in us?
The Seminars offer several days of
cutting edge teaching and prayer,
designed to stir hearts, confront
apathy and move the hand of God.
20
The Seminar will feature some of
YWAM's finest speakers who teach
on prayer, worship, Bible meditation,
and historical awakenings.
21
PHASE TWO
The Impact World Tour
Team Extreme
World-class athletes who perform
outstanding feats of strength,
encouraging young people to excel in
all that they do and to take a stand
for righteousness.
GX-Jam International
A worldwide ministry of teens
& young adults of all ages who
use performing arts, extreme
sports, and to bring a message
of love and hope in Christ.
Island Breeze
Missionaries to and from the
Polynesian Islands who use their
native music, dance and song to
redeem cultures and share their
faith.
22
The Goal: To use strategic evangelistic campaigns to
reach the unreached.
PHASE THREE
Follow-up & Discipleship
Discipleship programs immediately
follow the campaign to begin to
establish the new believers into their
faith and a local church. Seminars
will follow up with teaching on
redeeming
and
restoring
the
foundation of our society to
godliness. Participating Churches
do the follow-up to facilitate
personal relationships, and lasting
fruit.
23
Each evening during the campaign, an
extensive follow-up program is put into action

Our Ministry
27
We Need A Support Team...
"Committed friends and family who stand together with us,
helping to meet our prayer and financial needs."
It is the commitment of a faithful support team
that enables us to obey God's call in this ministry.
With that commitment comes a unique bond
that further strengthens our relationships
with those members.
Becoming a team member will not only help
meet our financial needs but fills a vital
intercessory role as well.
We Need You...
We can be partners in ministry together.
All YWAMers must raise 100% of their own
expenses.
