Introduction :
Surgery is an important component of the clinical medicine .It mainly reaseaches the
etiology、occurrence、development、diagnosis and treatment of the surgical disease. The students
should selectively learn and master the basic knowledge 、basic theory and basic skill and then be
fostered and triggered the capability of analyzing and the solving the problems. The content
includes the surgical basement、the common diseases of surgery and surgical operation .By means
of teaching in classroom 、extracurricular practice 、self-study and so on, and through
stimulating the students’ activity and creativity, they eventually master the clinical
basic knowledge、clinical skills of the common diseases and principles of the
treatment of the common diseases and frequently-occurring disease of surgery .
Extracurricular practice :
In order to improve the quality of the teaching level , the students should be
involved in the case discussion 、doing animal experiment 、watching the process of
operation、observing the specimen、reading x-ray films and seeing photographic
recording as the auxiliary methods in the course of the teaching . Through the
extracurricular practice , the students should be trained to have the ability of solving
the common and frequently-occurring and some emergency and severe diseases .

anatomy 、 diagnostics 、 pathology

pathophysiology 、pharmacology、microbiology and so on。
Course level: the third and forth grade .
