^Clearford Water Systems Commences Installation of Clearford One(TM) to
Provide $1 million Wastewater Collection and Treatment System for
Fetherston Mobile Home Park in North Grenville Ontario@
OTTAWA, Aug. 24, 2015 /CNW/ - Clearford Water Systems Inc. ("Clearford"
or the "Company"), (TSX-V: CLI), today announced commencement of
installation
of Clearford One(TM) to service the Fetherston Mobile Home Park in North
Grenville Ontario. The system will collect and treat sanitary sewage for
46
permanent residences. Clearford also will acquire the existing potable
water
treatment system which includes ultra violet purification by the Hallett®
system manufactured by UV Pure Technologies Inc. of Toronto, a subsidiary
of
Clearford.
The $1 million system is designed, funded, installed and operated by
Clearford Water Utility (Fetherston) Inc. under a 30 year Service
Agreement
with Fetherston Mobile Home Park Association. The Association will pay a
fixed
charge of $221.24 plus HST per month per residence, adjusted annually to
reflect the change in the Consumer Price Index. The system is scheduled
to be
operational before year end 2015. This Clearford Pay For Performance(TM)
delivery model is available to Municipalities in Ontario and was
announced in
January 2015.
The Clearford One (TM) system is based on distributed treatment at the
sewage source in ClearDigest(TM), collection of liquid outflow from
ClearDigest(TM) through a small bore flexible pipe network,
ClearConvey(TM),
and final treatment meeting all regulatory requirements performed by
ClearDigest(TM).
For Fetherston, ClearDigest will incorporate a packaged Membrane
BioReactor (MBR) supplied to Clearford by Koester-Team Aquatic (KTA).
Operation of the Fetherston system has been contracted by Clearford to
KTA, an
established Ontario operator of wastewater treatment plants. Clearford
retains
full responsibility for the system with service functions performed by
KTA.
"Clearford One(TM) provides this community with wastewater management
service that is affordable for residents while providing environmental
performance superior to conventional systems ", said Kevin Loiselle,
Clearford's President and CEO. "We believe that Clearford One(TM) and the
Pay
For Performance(TM) delivery model will allow many communities in Ontario
to
meet wastewater management needs without being burdened by debt and with
full
life cycle service charges significantly lower than the cost of
conventional
systems," Mr. Loiselle said.

term defined in policies of TSX Venture Exchange) accepts responsibility
