Connect

The College of Health and Human Services encourages community connection in two ways. We perceive that, as a college, we are a community and that we are a component of a broader university community. Within the college community, we foster a sense of belonging, partnership, and camaraderie. As good citizens of the academy, we actively participate in faculty governance and work collaboratively on campus issues such as general education. In addition, we perceive that we are a part of the broader Long Beach and state of California community. Our collaboration with agencies, businesses, and other noneducation entities are an important part of our identity. Represented, in part, by our 2008-2009 $4m in development dollars
