The Draft horse and Draft Pony Show is a one (1) day show. You may pull in and exhibit on day of show.
There is no housing for horses or ponies arriving day of show.
You will be charged admission to enter the fairgrounds.
Draft horses and ponies will be released at 6:00 p.m. on Monday or by direction of the Superintendent.
All stalls in barns that Draft Horses are housed in shall be cleaned and pushed into the aisle way before dismissed.
All Premium money will be forfeited if not completed. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Brad Pore will be matching the premium money for Book 9-A – obstacle course single, Class 2; Book 9-A – obstacle course team, Class 4; Book 9-A – farm
implement, Class 6; and Book 8-A – farm line drive (2nd show day), Class 1. A new class, “Championship Class – Team to Wagon”, has also been added and
we would like to thank Brad for donating the rosette and trophy for the Champion and for donating the premium money for this new class.

This event is conducted under the guidelines of The Ohio Fair Managers Association.
Upon arrival to the fairgrounds, all teams must be directed into the infield of the south grandstand.
All teams will be escorted up to the North Arena by fair board personnel at 5:30 p.m.. T
Teams arriving after this time will be escorted as they arrive. It is strongly suggested that participants arrive as early as
possible to avoid traffic delays entering the fairgrounds.
5. Water facilities are available for teams arriving early.
6. There will be no admission charge to the participants (2) of this event, however, admission will be charged to those persons
traveling with the contestant that are not entering in the contest.
7. All persons working the event with a particular team must enter the gate in one vehicle.
8. Lightweight teams arriving with a weight slip from any pull held 48 hours prior, will not have to weigh. Weight-in for
lightweight will be at 5:00 p.m. at the South Grandstand.
9. The fair board reserves the right to blood test any and all teams participating in this event. If you do not consent to the blood
test, or do not cooperate with the veterinarian performing the test, you will be disqualified and forfeit any premiums earned. If
the blood test is returned positive, you will forfeit any premiums earned, and shall not be allowed to pull at the Hancock
County Fair for two (2) consecutive years (for the first offense), and indefinitely for a repeat offense. Premiums on all tested
teams will be held until the test results are returned to the fair board. In the event of a positive test, the forfeited premium
money shall be divided among the remaining contestants.
10. Individuals whose teams test positive for any foreign substance may be pursued via fraud statues under the Ohio Revised
Code.
