Expectations & Participation

Four 2-Day workshops March, May, August and September. Each workshop includes 16 hours in the
classroom and one or two evening short-sessions that focus on networking and key leadership topics.

360 surveys will be sent to all participants in January from Peregrine Leadership Institute with explicit
instructions. The results will be used in the first workshop. This survey is an integral part of our leadership
development training, so please return it to Peregrine, by March 1. A post 360 survey will be done at the
completion of the program to compare the results.

The evening before the first workshop, Monday, March 14, includes a social dinner along with a short
introduction to Credit Union Leadership Institute; and a short presentation on the credit union movement and
leaders within the movement.

Subsequent workshops will include one evening dinner social with leadership presentations.
o
Participants will develop and present the presentations as part of their homework assignments.
Homework assignments are done in small groups (don’t worry these are not too time consuming).
o
Lunches, snacks and dinners are included in the registration costs.

One-on-one coaching/mentoring session with each participant will be conducted at your credit union in the
June/July timeframe. Peregrine staff will schedule these.

Final workshop will be held in Denver in conjunction with the Mountain West Credit Union Foundation’s Annual
Star Gala.

September 21, 5:00pm – 7:00pm - Final group projects will be presented at the first evening dinner.
o
September 22, 5:30pm - 8:30pm - Recognition/Graduation Dinner - You may invite colleagues and
guests. (Their cost is $65 per person)


September 23, 6:00pm - 10:30pm - Mountain West Credit Union Foundation Star Gala

o
One spokesperson from each cohort will be chosen to speak at the graduation dinner.
Leadership Participants are encouraged to attend. (tickets are $195 each)
Please make hotel reservations as soon as possible as there are major events in Denver that week.
