Research interests:
Primary research interests include climate change, meteorological extreme events, in particular, meteorological
and agricultural drought and its impact on agricultural crops, crop modelling.
Activity in the Czech Republic:
2005: Selected in the pilot project “Selection of Qualified Foreign Workers” awarded by Ministry of Labour
and Social Affairs of the Czech Republic. CZE-MOA/00010/05. 2005:
- Master study programme in geography and biology, diploma higher education was recommended to
Charles University (Prague) for nostrification and was approved by Minister of Education, Youth and Sport
of the Czech Republic.
- Doctor degree diploma was approved by Minister of Education, Youth and Sport of the Czech Republic.
Awards:
2013: Award of the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague for the best scientific articles published
in international peer-reviewed journals.
2005: Award of the Academy of Sciences in the Republic of Moldova for research study as young scientists
