A separate concept map should be filled out for each root, prefix, or suffix. There are
several ways to complete this task. You can either photocopy this template, create your
own template to fill out on the computer, or create hand-drawn concept maps on
notebook paper.
Make sure you consult the example for “GEO” in your science notebook.
If you use the computer, make sure to conserve paper. If you are handwriting your
concept maps, please put no more than 3 on one side of the page. Write large so they
can be read. If they can’t be read, they may be marked wrong.
Please consult a dictionary for this assignment. Since the purpose is to increase your
vocabulary, deductions will be made for spelling mistakes. The dictionary is your friend!
