Bring a friend to church
Tuesday 11 December: Ian Thomas is organising an evening of poetry, prose and music and
would like suggestions asap, but no later than Friday 30 November. (2075 4255)
Other events, notices and diary dates
‘Celebration’ – Friday 7 December – a newly formed band of young musicians and
singers at Cyncoed Methodist Church (see poster in porch).
TOY SERVICE, Sunday 9 December, 10.30 am. Cardiff Social Services would be
grateful for any toys we can provide for distribution to needy households in the area. Any new,
or good as new, toys or games you are able to provide, for age 12 and under especially, would
be very welcome (unwrapped please, for ease of distribution).
CAROL SERVICE, Sunday 23 December, 6.00 pm
Sensing God – a series of midweek evening services about using all our senses in worship, at
St Andrew’s, 8.00 pm. Thursday, 13 December, ‘Listening for God.’ (see notice in porch).
The Beacon Centre, St Mellons – There will be two job vacancies at this new nursery when it

John Rackham is seeking to improve
communication between the 11 churches in Llanishen & District through notices, newsletters
and posters. If you have events you wish to promote in the other 10 churches, please e-mail
