Julia Howard, MS, LPC is the Clinical Coordinator at Bramblewood-Children's Residential facility. She earned a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from Missouri State University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Tana Leigh Warren, MS, LPC is an Individual and Family Counselor at Bramblewood Residential Facility. She earned a Master of Science from Missouri State University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Certified Teacher, a Certified School Counselor, and a Certified Mediator. Her areas of expertise are Individual and Family Therapy When not at work, Tana enjoys spending time with family, reading (especially books related to professional interests), walking the dog, preservation of our natural prairies and dreams of pursuing a PH.D. J. Paul Goodwin, MSW, ACSW, LCSW is the Director of Transitions in Springfield. Paul earned a Master’s of Social Work with Mental Health concentration with specialization in Management from Washington University, and is a LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) Paul’s career has been devoted to community-based, psychiatric rehabilitation services to adults with serious and persistent mental illnesses. While he is away from work he enjoys fly fishing and fly tying. Conservation and volunteer water quality monitoring are also interests. Lori Lawrenz, Psy.D. earned both Master’s and doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology from the Forest Institute of Professional Psychology. Dr. Lawrenz works in the Main Center in Springfield and her specialties are individual and group psychotherapy, and psychological evaluations for the adult population. Her outside interests include making jewelry and other art forms. Barbara Wachtel-Nash, Psy.D. works in the Kingsley Clinic in Springfield. Dr. WachtelNash earned her degree from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She specializes in Medical/Health Psychology and Psychological Evaluations. On weekends and vacations you’ll find Barbara enjoying anything and everything there is to do at the lake. Lin Hogan, MS, LPC, CASAC, works at Burrell’s main center as a Pre-Doctoral Intern earned his Master of Science in Counselling Psychology from Troy University and he’s currently a Psy.D. candidate at The School of Professional Psychology at Forest Institute. His professional specialities include: Health Psychology, Pain Management, Substance Abuse Treatment, Integrative Health Care. When Lin’s not at work, you’re likely to find him outdoors, kayaking, fishing, and travelling. Sharon Logsdon, MS, LPC is a Therapist at Milano. Sharon earned her Master of Science in Guidance and Counseling from Missouri State University back when it was known as SMS. SU) She has been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2001. Her areas of expertise are children, adolescents, family, group therapy. When she is not working Sharon enjoys spending time with family, traveling, church activities, walking/being outdoors. Susan Henderson, M.S. Director of Burrell Autism Center and Children's Day Treatment earned a Master of Science from the University of Central Arkansas and is a licensed psychologist with specialties in Autism, Attachment Disorders, and various Children's Mental Health issues. Her interests outside work include spending time with her family, church, and reading. Linda Skolnick, Psy.D. is a licensed psychologist who earned her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Skolnick is a Registered Play Therapist credentialed through the Association for Play Therapy and is currently training to provide Parent-Child Interaction Therapy. Her areas of expertise include working with very young children (ages 2-10) and their families to evaluate and treat emotional, behavioral, and developmental issues. Outside the office, Linda enjoys exploring nature, singing in a choir and baking. Craig Valone is the Director of Adult Rehabilitative Services in the Central region. Craig earned a Master of Arts in Counseling from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary and a Master of Science in Administrative Studies from Missouri State University. His specialty is low income housing and supportive housing. His interests include nature, pets, and baseball. William Mallot, Psy.D. works in Burrell’s Bolivar office. Dr. Mallot earned a doctorate at the Forest Institute of Professional Psychology and a Master of Arts from the University of Central Oklahoma. He is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist working with adults, and specializing in Narrative Therapy. His interests outside the office include movies, reading, film history, and swimming. Melissa Burns, MSW, LCSW is our Children's Day Treatment Assistant Director. Melissa earned a Master of Social Work and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in child and family therapy. When she’s not at work, Melissa enjoys playing with her 2 year old, and shopping flea markets for old toys to collect and sell. Paul Schulte, MS, LCSW, has been at Burrell since 1989. He is an Outpatient Clinician. Paul earned a Master’s in Guidance and Counseling from Missouri State University and he specializes in Marital and Family Therapy. Nicole Fairchild, MA LPC, holds a Master of Arts in Counseling from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor trained in PCIT (Parent Child Interaction Therapy). Her areas of expertise include: women caught in a domestic violence cycle, individuals looking to do grief work, and families seeking help with managing the behaviors of children or teenagers that are disruptive to the entire home. To relax, Nicole enjoys knitting, spinning, cutting flowers grown by her husband and chasing her 2 young children. Stephanie Basham, MS, LPC, earned Master of Science in Counseling from Missouri State University and she’s a Licensed Professional Counselor. Her areas of expertise include working with both adults and children facing mental health challenges. When she is not at work, Stephanie enjoys water activities, hiking, racquetball, playing with her young children, and gardening. Shirley Ann Kolkmeyer, MS, LPC earned her Master of Counseling and Human Relations from Villanova University and she’s a Licensed Professional Counselor. Her clinical specialties include children, adolescents, and families, and Christian counseling. Shirley enjoys the outdoors, hiking, camping, spending time with family when she’s away from work. Anne Colvin, Psy.D., LPC is a Psychological Resident at Burrell with a Masters of Psychology and Doctor of Psychology from Forest Institute. Dr. Colvin’s areas of expertise are working with individuals and couples, adults and adolescents. Dr. Colvin does psychological testing and bariatric assessments. Outside work, Dr. Colvin enjoys photography and time with her family. Seth R. Allen, Psychologist, earned a doctorate in Education from Boston University. He specializes in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, adolescent and adult treatment and evaluation. Cheryl List, PhD is a Licensed Psychologist on staff at Burrell. Rachel Winkler, MSW, LCSW, earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Missouri. Her areas of expertise are individual and family therapy, ages 12 and up. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with family, gardening, reading, road trips, nature walks, etc. Mary Nau, LPC, earned a Master’s from Missouri State University and she’s a Licensed Professional Counselor with a specialty in working with young children. She is also trained in Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). Outside work, Mary enjoys gardening, reading, sewing, and she’s a church volunteer. Kevin Robertson, MS, LPC, earned a Masters from the University of South Alabama, and he’s a Licensed Professional Counselor with expertise in individual and family therapy for treatment of depression, anxiety, and mood disorders in adults/children as well as disruptive behavior disorders in children and adolescents. When he’s not working, Kevin participates in a local church, music and sports. Sara Rutan, MSW, LCSW works as Burrell’s Outstate HIV Mental Health Consultant. She’s a graduate of University of Kansas School of Social Welfare who specializes in HIV/AIDS, Mental Health. She enjoys reading, visiting with family, and travelling. Joyce Everson, is a Psychologist who has enjoyed working at Burrell for over 25 years. Dr. Everson earned her Doctor of Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology and she specializes in Adult Psychotherapy. Michael Hall, is an Outpatient Clinician at Burrell. He earned a Master of Counseling degree from the Denver Seminary. Mike specializes in individual and family counseling, including children, adolescents and adults. When he’s not at work, Mike enjoys family life, outdoor sports, and serving in a local church. Susan Pyle, Psy.D. earned her doctoral degree from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology after completing a Masters of Education from Louis University. Dr. Pyle works in Burrell’s Branson office. Dr. Pyle’s specialty is clinical psychology. When she’s not working, Dr. Pyle spends time gardening, paddling, hiking, and biking.
