Our 3 Options for Custom Adenovirus Service:
1. Custom Adenovirus Service with the gene in pShuttle vector (C001):
a. We send out one of our pShuttle vectors to the customer. Please Click Here for
pShuttle vector details.
b. They subclone their gene of interest into the vector.
c. They then ship the pShuttle vector with the insert to ABM for adenovirus cloning.
Also, send us the gene sequence or cloning site information of it to facilitate
adenovirus cloning.
2. Custom Adenovirus Service without the gene in pShuttle vector, but with
it in a plasmid (C001 AND one of C003 or C073):
a. The customer clones their gene of interest into any plasmid.
b. They send ABM their plasmid and corresponding restriction site information.
c. Scientists at ABM will subclone their gene from the plasmid into their choice of one
of our pShuttle vectors (please indicate this on the order). The cost of subcloning
will be based on the availability of restriction enzyme sites contained in the plasmid.
3. Custom Adenovirus Service without the gene in plasmid or pShuttle, and
only name and accession number (C001 AND one of C074, C075 or C076):
a. The customer sends their gene’s name and its accession number to ABM.
b. We will produce the DNA sequence required for your gene.
c. Scientists at ABM will then clone their gene into their choice of one of our pShuttle
vectors (please indicate this on the order). The cost of subcloning will be based on
the gene’s size as outlined on the previous page.
