California Creedmoor Spring Classic
NRA Registered Match
Greetings Fellow BPCR Creedmoor Marksmen & Markswomen:
The Folsom Rifle Club invites you to attend our 2005 California Creedmoor
Spring Classic on the 15th, 16th & 17th of April. Friday April 15th will be a practice
match with 30 minutes allocated per shooter at each distance, 800, 900 & 1,000
yards, to fire unlimited shots for sight setting acquisition and practice. Saturday
and Sunday will be the match composed of unlimited sighters and 10-shots for
record within 30 minuets at each distance.
Awards will be three-deep for Master, Expert, Sharpshooter and Marksman
classes plus a very nice Match Winner Cup. The Match Director reserves the
right to combine classes. There will be special awards to get the Traditional
Shooters fired-up. For those that choose to shoot only the real stuff, no “fake”
powders allowed for these awards, there will be overall awards 3 places deep for
the Black Powder Traditionalists. Scope Class shooters will have their own
awards and will not compete against iron sight competitors. Team awards will
also be given for the highest 3-man team aggregate score with Scope Class
allowed for this award.
All NRA Long-range rules will apply.
We look forward to your attendance and shared camaraderie. Dry camping is
available at the range for $5/night. Hotels are not too far away. The weather in
the Sacramento, CA area this time of year is often very conducive to excellent
scores. So, come join us for a weekend of fun, camaraderie and competition.
Respectfully,
Daniel S Theodore, Match Director
