Learning Activities:
Target: Students will give directions to get to a place and to do tasks and discuss driving
habits.
Students will also develop story writing skills that promote proficiency within an authentic
context.

vocabulary from chapter 1 that is related to this
new chapter.
Guided Practice #1: Teacher will go over
pronunciation over vocabulary 3A.
Students will complete vocabulary notes.
Independent Practice: Using vocabulary flash
cards students will learn the new vocabulary.
Students will take oral quiz over vocabulary 3A.
next class.
Closing: Teacher will assign homework for
vocabulary 3A due Wednesday/Thursday.
*Teacher will announce matching quiz over
vocabulary 3A&B this Friday.
Warm-up: Vocabulary 3A matching.
Opening: Teacher will review vocabulary 3A
pronunciation.
Independent Practice: Using vocabulary flash
cards students will teach each other the new
vocabulary. Teacher will go around asking
students for pronunciation and meaning.
Students will take vocabulary 3A oral quiz.
Guided Practice #2: if time, students will do a
listening practice from the listening workbook.
