Objective I can recall, listen to, and understand vocabulary related to chores, modes of transportation, prepositions, and places in a community. I can learn new vocabulary about places people go, what they buy, and errands. Teacher/student Warm-up: none Opening: Teacher will go over previous vocabulary from chapter 1 that is related to this new chapter. Guided Practice #1: Teacher will go over pronunciation over vocabulary 3A. Students will complete vocabulary notes. Independent Practice: Using vocabulary flash cards students will learn the new vocabulary. Students will take oral quiz over vocabulary 3A. next class. Closing: Teacher will assign homework for vocabulary 3A due Wednesday/Thursday. *Teacher will announce matching quiz over vocabulary 3A&B this Friday. Warm-up: Vocabulary 3A matching. Opening: Teacher will review vocabulary 3A pronunciation. Independent Practice: Using vocabulary flash cards students will teach each other the new vocabulary.
