I’m so close to cracking this mystery. I can feel it. I can’t help but think that the answer is right
there in front of me. But I just can’t quite put it all together. Sometimes going down the list of
suspects helps me keep things straight.

Dr. Reid. I can’t believe I once thought Dr. Reid was the villain. I mean, look at that beatific
face. How could he be a bad guy, even if he did go to MIT?

And Stone. Things were getting pretty heated there on the Fantasy Curling Bulletin Board. But
I’ve been having troubles ever since the Fantasy Curling League ended. Don’t get me wrong. I
think he’s a terrible Fantasy Curling manager. But I don’t think he would stoop this low.

Jill the Grill and I certainly had our differences. But it’s simply a timeline issue: The problems
cropped up months before she wanted me filleted alive. Unless you can hate someone for what
you have a premonition they will do to you, I don’t think she’s our woman.

I think we all know the Jealous Boyfriend is still a possibility.

Stella is an interesting possibility, because I’m not even sure what she wants. That’s how bad
this whole situation has become. I’m as afraid of what I don’t know as I am of what I do. I
don’t even know what that means.

There is one candidate that I haven’t yet mentioned. That’s right. Myself. I saw this movie
once with Antonio Banderes and it ended up that he was actually schizophrenic and stalking
himself, or something like that. The movie was terrible. But his hair was to die for. Anyhoo,
maybe I subconsciously hate my job and want to get myself fired. That’d be kind of cool.
