Welcome to December. Usually
December is really cold. This week we will
be experiencing a mixture of warm and
cold temperatures mostly in the 40s. The
average for this week of the year is 48
degrees.
This week (week 14) students will be
completing their study on heredity and the
Punnett Squares. Students will be reading
about writing an essay on Genetically
Modified Organisms.
You should have received a letter about
pupilpath. If you didn’t, please email me at
the address below or call IS 93.

Nocera created the world’s first practical artificial leaf. The selfcontained units mimic the process of photosynthesis, but the end
result is hydrogen instead of oxygen. The hydrogen can then be
captured into fuel cells and used for electricity, even in the most
remote locations on Earth.

#2: Create a blog, video, or wikipages
website that reviews any of the topics we
have learned or learned in 6th and 7th
grade.
#3: Current Events Article on any topics
we have learned. Answer the who, what,
when, where, why questions. State your
opinion of the article. Include the title,
author name, and source (ex: nytimes)

1) We will cover the following labs: microscope field of view, classification, density, and ball and ramp.
