Original research papers/articles , reviews , and presentations of Romanian and international organizations of Ecology and fields related to Ecology, are welcomed.
The review and presentation papers must deal with topics of general interest or contemporary importance in Ecology or fields related to
Ecology, being synthetic rather than comprehensive in emphasis. Authors of review papers should submit to the editor, and expect evaluation before publishing. Original research papers are welcomed in either format as full-length papers or short articles.
The articles will be published in Romanian , English, or French and authors are required to submit papers including an Abstract or Summary in English, free of typing errors (please use Spell Check ), for any article, including those in Romanian.
Up to three articles per issue are permitted for the same author (first and/or co-author).
Preparation of the manuscript:
On the first step please make sure you set the paper size and margins correctly.
Manuscripts must be submitted in electronic version only, as well as the original figures and tables.
The manuscript text should be MS-Word processed, typed throughout in letter quality with font size 11,
Times New Roman, without footnotes, single spaced , on A4 (210 x 297 mm) paper, with margins of:
Do NOT number the pages and do NOT insert anything on header and/or footer. Maximum number of pages per article is preferable/recommended to not exceed fifteen (15) pages.
All manuscripts are subject to editorial review. Manuscripts are received with the explicit understanding that they are not under simultaneous consideration by any other publication. Submission of an article for publication implies the transfer of the copyright from the author to the publisher, upon acceptance.
We reserve the right to edit or otherwise adjust all contributions/articles. Authors will receive the adjusted/edited and approved articles before publication.
Images submitted with a manuscript for review should be minimally processed (i.e. added titles and/or arrows). Authors should retain their unprocessed data/metadata files, as editors may request them if necessary. All digitized images submitted with the final revision of the manuscript must be of high quality and have resolutions of at least 300 d.p.i. for color , 600 d.p.i. for grayscale and 1200 d.p.i. for line art.
It is the author's responsibility to obtain permission to reproduce illustrations, tables, etc. from other publications.
For all types of papers, the title page must contain the following:

title of paper (Bold) Please provide a concise & informative title/subject.
name(s) of the author(s).
The Institution where the work was done and the name and address of the corresponding author with an e-mail address, may be provided in the footnote.
The abstract/summary should summarize the essential results and conclusions. The introduction has to be a concise description of the background, aims and specific objectives of the article.
Materials & methods have to provide sufficient information, including technical description of study methods.
The Results section must be a concise presentation of the finding of the study. Try to avoid the presentation of same information as text and /or figure and/or table.
Discussion section should be separate from the results section at full-length papers and should deal with the significance of the results and their relationship to the aims of the paper. Also, include how the findings of the paper will change/influence/improve the knowledge.
In the text identify references by Arabic numerals in square brackets. The authors of a paper should be cited in the list of references. Avoid quoting unpublished reports or thesis. List references alphabetically by author under References and date of publication at the same author. Journals and series names have to be entirely spelled out in this section.
Color Figures, Proofs and Reprints:
Proof will be sent to the authors only once and it should be returned without delay. Corrections should be limited to typographical errors. Following publication, the first (or corresponding) author will be provided with both, electronic copy in .pdf format.
Peer-Review:
Each paper will be reviewed by at least two (2) independent reviewers. The editors will decide the acceptance of the manuscripts according to reviews. An article/paper could be rejected without external review if the editors think that it is unacceptable for publication.
