Appendix 5 Work Clubs

Work Clubs are designed to support people to get back into employment. The Work Clubs offer help with basic employability advice such as updating CVs, interview tips and job search. Basic IT knowledge is required in most cases, as is a commitment to finding work. Space is limited, so it is advisable to book ahead. As each Work Club is different, it may be worth a phone call beforehand to see if they can help with your particular need.

Some of the Work Clubs are supported by National Careers Service Guidance Officers who may be able to offer more in-depth support on training and career options. Unless stated otherwise, work clubs are open to all.
