393. Ancient Coins and Medals. Basel, Munzen und Medaillen A.G. Munzen und Medaillen. Liste 224- Liste 513. July 1962- August 1988.
Approximately 250 catalogues of ancient coins and medals and 19th century European coins from this Swiss dealer, not a complete or
continuous run but fairly complete. Each catalogue is 8vo, in wrappers, and they vary in size from about 16 pages to about 40 pages;
most are about 20 pages; each is well-illustrated and priced in the text. They are well-organized; for instance, Catalogue 284 lists coins
from Syria, Phoenicia and Palestine; another catalogue lists coins with representations of animals on Greek coinage, etc. These are
duplicates from a library and some have some library stamps on the front cover and minor cover annotation; overall the condition of this
group is very good-fine.
