Burger King “Have it Your Way” Scholarship: Amount: $1,000 Deadline: February 1st 2010 Info: 2.5 GPA or higher, work part-time minimum of 10hrs per week, be actively involved in community service, demonstrate financial need, enrolling at a 2/4yr college or university. Oregon Student Assistance Commission (OSAC) Scholarships: This is one application and over 400 scholarships. Several are listed below. All REQUIRE the FAFSA be completed in addition to the application. Deadlines: Application available November 2nd. Early Bird is February 16th 2010 with a chance to win $500 Final deadline is March 1st 2010 - Oregon Opportunity Grant: Must be an Oregon resident attending any participating 2 or 4 year school and demonstrate financial need. Amount varies. - The Robert C. Byrd Honors Scholarship: Graduating seniors attending a 2 or 4 year school with a 3.85+ GPA and an SAT combined math and critical reading score of 1300+. Award amount is $1500. This scholarship does NOT require FAFSA - Ford Scholars Program: Must be an Oregon resident enrolling in a 2 or 4 year school with a 3.00GPA and planning to attend full-time. Award amount varies based on need. - Olga Samuelson Freeman Scholarship: Must be a graduate of CHS planning to attend a 4 year university. Award is renewable if qualifications are met. - Benjamin Franklin-Edith Green Scholarship: Students planning to attend a 4year public college with GPA’s between 3.45 and 3.55. Clackamas Community College Scholarship: Amount: Up to $2000 Deadline: To Miss Maynard by April 30th 2010 Info: See Below – Applications in the counseling office - High School Academic Incentive Scholarship: Full tuition for one term. Must have a 2.5 GPA, must enroll for 12 or more credits and have filled out a CCC application including all related materials. - High School Opportunity Scholarship: Up to $2,000 in tuition for the following academic year. Student must face some barrier to success in higher education (disability, first to attend college in family, ethnicity, financial need etc). Must have a 2.5 GPA and enroll for 12 or more credits. - High School Honors Scholarship: Up to $2,000 in tuition for the upcoming academic school year.
