Behavioural Disorders

18) TCD School of Nursing and Midwifery: Public Lecture
This talk emerges from the idea that on old navigation maps when the
terrain was unexplored they simply put "here be dragons�= D. Professor
Pesut will explore the landscape of religious and spiritual diversity in
healthcare and illustrate how this changing landscape is influencing how

25) Launch of Booklet on the Lived Experience of Growing
Older in Ireland
In order to highlight the impact that austerity measures have had on
older people's incomes and experience of poverty in Ireland, Age Action
will launch a short booklet on October 16th to mark the UN International
Day for the Eradication of Poverty. The booklet will include information on
changes to income and how this has impacted on older people's
experience of energy poverty and their access to health services.

30) Community Alert Awareness Month
Community Alert Awareness Month 2014 will commence on the 1st
October 2014 and runs until the 31st October 2014. Community Alert has
been operating in rural Ireland since 1985 as a crime prevention
programme. The programme is operated by Muintir na Tire in partnership
with An Garda Síochána and harnesses the voluntary input of community
members in almost 1350 Community Alert groups which operate
nationwide.
