We discussed issues in contacting Appeal Democrat and other sources to
get the word out about our Patch, Leiser’s Festival and CGS to the local
art community

CGS Pres Sylvia Nelson gave Barbara Cody 60 gourds for
SBGA’s Patch members to divide/take home to clean
(using bleach) that will be used by the children at The
California State Flower, Food and Garden Show at Cal
Expo; Barbara drilled the large holes in each birdhouse
gourd & gathered the seeds (which will be sold at the
show): we will return cleaned gourds at March SBGA’s meeting.

Valerie and Meg discussing Meg’s ceramic Fetish Bowl which, when
finished, will be placed next to her outdoor entryway—a hole is
drilled into the side of the bowl so that when Meg comes home at the
end of her day she can write any of the day’s angst on a piece of
paper, roll it up and stick it inside the bowl and poof! she can enter
her home free of negative energy: Negative energy outside, positive
energy inside…I love lore! For my entryway, I’m thinking of making a
Fetish Trunk—you know, for those “special” days…
