STABLING AT THIS YEAR’S SHOW


All stallions have been allocated lock-up stabling. A booking is
essential. Stallions required to have bit in mouth except in
stable.
We encourage you to use stables allocated to you.
Please note that all exhibitors are required to pay admission into the show grounds.
Special Regulations
These regulations are to be read in conjunction with the Rules and Regulations for Exhibitors
and Participants on the back of the nomination form. All entries by exhibitors under the age of
18 years must be accompanied by the signed consent of the exhibitor’s parent/guardian. All
adult entries must be accompanied by the signed indemnity. This form is located with the entry
forms at the back of the schedule.
ALL NOMINATION OF ENTRY FORMS MUST BE SIGNED.
TIMETABLE: The Ringmaster has the right to alter the schedule, programme and start time if
and where it is deemed necessary.
SAFETY REQUIREMENTS: ALL COMPETITORS MUST
STANDARD SAFETY HELMET AND SMOOTH SOLED BOOTS.

HACKING:
NOMINATIONS: - on the day – no mail nominations accepted.
Birth certificates to be available on demand.
Horses without certificates may be measured at the Ringmaster’s discretion.
IN HAND CLASSES:
All Horses in registered section must be registered with their own breed societies and
photocopies of registration documents and current membership, must accompany entry forms.
REFUNDS: On veterinary certificate only.
LOOSE BOXES FOR STALLIONS, MARES AND FOALS - Owing to the limited number
available these will be allocated on a first booked and paid for basis at $5 per box for show.
NO TELEPHONE BOOKINGS ACCEPTED
IN HAND ENTERIES: Must be on in hand class entry form – NOT on a livestock form.
PROTESTS: All protests must be in writing and lodged with the Chief Office Steward,
accompanied by a $50 fee, within 10 minutes of the decision being protested against.
RIDERS AND SPECTATORS TAKE PART AT THEIR OWN RISK.

Both Pony and Rider MUST be residents of the Busselton Shire to compete in the
District Pony Class.

Riders may compete in the unofficial or the kindergarten ring only – ponies may be
ridden by different riders in either ring – be aware that the programme will not be
held up.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

Official ponies CAN NOT compete in this ring.

Children may ride in Led classes OR Ridden classes - NOT BOTH.

Children must produce a birth certificate if required.

Children are only permitted to ride in this Ring on the day of the show.
LEADING REIN PONY EVENTS WILL BE JUDGED UNDER THE FOLLOWING
CONDITIONS;

Pony to be led off a properly fitted halter placed over the bridle.

Leader to be 16 years old or over and suitably dressed and will be judged accordingly.

Pony will be judged on soundness and suitability to a child rider.

Shirt, tie and jumper / jacket to be worn.

Children will not be required to canter.
