Results were provided by the RESOLAB member Veterinary Laboratories. It may be that in some
countries rabies diagnosis is performed by other laboratories.

Rabies is not present on the island.
 GUINEA-BISSAU

Currently no rabies diagnosis is made. The laboratory has however organized a diagnostic room so
that this activity may be started up in the coming months.
 GABON
Dr. Simplice MESSIE-VIGNON (ndongmba76ers@yahoo.fr)
At present no rabies diagnosis is carrying being carried out. The activity is expected to start in the
coming weeks.
 LIBERIA
Joseph ANDERSON (Joeelson2000@yahoo.com)
In process to procure a fluorescent microscope for rabies diagnosis.
The staff vaccination against rabies is planned.
