Call for speakers Persons interested in presenting a proposal at the Forum can fill out the following form and return it to us prior to November 15. Please take note of these important points before submitting your proposal. PROPOSALS MUST MEET THE OBJECTIVES OF THE FORUM The main objective of the Forum is to share knowledge for the enhancement of water quality. Your proposal must focus on practical tools such as proven solutions and processes, strategies put in place, accomplished projects, as well as success factors and obstacles. WORKSHOP FORMULA The general formula for workshops is as follows: Each session includes 2 or 3 speakers talking 20 minutes each. Presentations are followed by a discussion with participants. The total workshop lasts 90 minutes. Other formulas may be used. We will communicate with targeted speakers. GUIDELINES AND DEADLINES Deadline for submitting a proposal is November 15 2008. You may submit several distinct proposals. Submitters will be contacted individually about their session, accepted or not, by the end of December. Selected speakers will have to send appropriate documentation (presentation summary, Powerpoint and biography), their payment and registration form by March 30, 2009. Speakers will have to pay for all travel and lodging expenses. Speakers pay registration fees, except on their presentation day.
