This transfer guide is designed to help a student at College of DuPage easily choose courses to take at College of DuPage that will satisfy most of Bethel general education (core curriculum) requirements. Unless otherwise indicated, one (1) course from each area will satisfy that gen ed requirement. In most cases, with careful planning you will be able to fulfill College of DuPage’s curriculum objectives, while also completing coursework that Bethel requires. Here are some additional guidelines to consider: -Most courses required for a specific academic major should be taken at Bethel. -Any College of DuPage course taken to satisfy a requirement for a major at Bethel should be approved by the specific academic department at Bethel. -Bethel’s programs are designed to be completed in 4 years. Early communication with you will allow Bethel to help you to determine when it is best for you to transfer. -Courses that are listed under more than one category can only count once. Students can choose which category they prefer. -A grade of ‘C’ or higher is required on each course to be accepted by Bethel. -An official transcript must be sent to Bethel once the course is completed and grade is posted.
