December Queen Oliver Youth of the Month Awarded Sarolyn Alease Fox The December Queen Oliver Youth of the Month was awarded to Sarolyn Alease Fox, a sixth grade Honor Roll Student at Freedom Preparatory Academy Charter School, where she has been designated a Gamma Student for having the best behavior out of her cohorts at school. She also serves as a Peer Science Tutor. Sarolyn attends Sunday where she serves as her class secretary, a member of the Angel Choir, the Number Three Ushers Ministry, the Middle Baptist Basketball Team, and is a Cadette Girl Scout. Her parents, Otis and Michelle Fox comments are: “She likes to perform science experiments, read, use the computer and play with her little brother. She is a joy around the house. Her plans are to attend college and pursue a course of study that will equip her to become a teacher. We are extremely proud of her!” Her grandparents are Willie and Earnestine Kuykendall. Geraldine Bussell, Director of the Youth and Young Adult Ministry presented the December 2011 Youth of the Month with a plaque and a $75 saving bond. The Middle Baptist Church family congratulates Sarolyn on her accomplishments. Rev. Lester Basken is Pastor.
