GIS – Global Information Services is a division of CCMS –
Customer Care Management System of Convergys. GIS serves Banks around the
world processing transaction for more than 300 million accounts on file. GIS
services HSBC in their Credit Card process, Bills and Loans.
The different ways of handling the project are through IR, PA and MR.
IR (Incident Reporting): Fixing a found bug in the existing modules through
Analysis, Coding and Testing.
PA Generalizing the functionality of the existing modules.
MR (Maintenance Reporting) Enhancing the existing functionality according to the
customer requirements.
Responsibilities:

Loading the Data’s in Database according to the Client’s Requirement.


FDR – First Data Resource is a Division of First Data Corporation
is the world’s largest third party Bank Card Processor. FDR serves Financial
Institutions around the world processing transaction for more than 300 million
accounts on file. FDR is involved in Bank transaction from beginning to end. In
addition FDR handles Embossing Cards, Fraud Prevention and Investigation,
Statements and Customer Service. It keeps track of the History of all levels of the
system. FDR is having about 1500 Different Clients (mostly Banks).
Responsibilities:

Analyzing the existing functionality of the module and then checking out the
module that needs to be modified.

Coding the required functionality according to the given requirement well
ahead of the given estimated time.

Testing the module giving all the possible inputs checking to the correctness
of the required output and also to see that the already existing functionality
would not affected due to the new code.

Updating the online document with the description of the change and different
test cases done.
This makes easy to the person who will conduct the
walkthrough before the module is moved to the production.

stores, it checks the reorder quantity level with the current stock. Whenever the
stock quantity is less than the reorder level, it prints a purchase order intimation
amount; the material is inward based on the document.
