sympathetic to the topic area and other people’s opinions in the group (for example, in a calm and rational manner, without causing conflict,
with diplomacy, using appropriate questions to further explore a point made, etc).

Respond appropriately to words and phrases, facial expressions and gestures which signal that others wish to contribute to a discussion
Assessor observation: Candidate allows others to make their point or comment by actively looking and listening for signals (such as gestures
or facial expressions that signal agreement/disagreement, or phrases that express a different point of view either while the candidate is
speaking, while others are speaking, or while there is a pause in the discussion).

Assessor observation: Candidate actively uses signals to indicate they wish to make their point or comment (such as gestures or facial
expressions that signal agreement/disagreement, or phrases that express a different point of view either while others are speaking or while
there is a pause in the discussion).
