Junior Division ~ (ages birth - 9)

Doors to the Civic Center will open at 8:30 AM for practice. All contestants are
asked to be there no later than 9:30 PM to register and pick up their number and any
photogenic pictures.
Contestants will be judged in short pageant dresses. Winners will receive a
crown, banner, and trophy.
Optional sportswear will be judged first. Photogenic pictures need to be sent in with
your application. More than one photo may be entered. The first photo is $10.
Additional photos are $5 each. Please be sure to put the contestant’s name on the back
of the picture. Pick pictures up on day of pageant. We will not be responsible for any
pictures left or damaged in mailing.
Senior Division ~ (ages 10 - 20)

The stage will be available for practicing at 1:30. Winners will receive a
crown, banner, and trophy. Optional sportswear will be judged first. Photogenic
pictures need to be sent in with your application. More than one photo may be entered.
The first photo is $10. Additional photos are $5 each. Please be sure to put the
contestant’s name on the back of the picture. Pick pictures up on day of pageant. We
will not be responsible for any pictures left or damaged in mailing.
***Attention: Miss Contestants (ages 17-20)
**There will be an opening parade of the Miss contestants. Please wear a black
dress. The Miss winners will receive a crown, banner, and trophy. The "Miss" division
winner will receive a $500 scholarship to the college of her choice.
**This category includes interview, sportswear, best dress, photogenic and
evening gown. The cost for the Miss division is $65.00.
The individual interviews will be with all three judges and will last 5 minutes.
The interview questions will come from your application. Please meet at the Ridge
Spring Town Library at 1:00 for the interviews. After the interview, you will be asked
to go to the civic center for the opening number practice (you will be saying your name
and your contestant #). You may wear the black dress for opening number for the
interview if you choose.
***All winners must ride in the Harvest Festival Parade on October 25th in
Ridge Spring, South Carolina. If you do not, the 1st runner-up will be asked
to ride in your place.
Admission : One person may be admitted free with each contestant.
6 years and older :
$5.00
Children 5 and younger: $2.00
All applications are due Wednesday, October 8, 2014. Please mail them to the address
on the application. We look forward to having you participate in the 2014 Ridge Spring
Harvest Festival Pageant.
