Dated 09.04.14 MURDER CASE SOLVED The joint team of North District and West District have done an excellent piece of investigation of a murder case in which one Naresh @ Billu s/o Mange Ram R/o RZ-48/207, Gali No.-6, J-Block, West Sagarpur, Delhi, Age- 45 Years was murdered and his body was dumped at Sahibabad, U.P. Two accused namely, Subhash Chand and Amit @ Nitu have been arrested vide FIR No. 165/14 dated 08.04.14 U/s 365/328/392/302/201/34 IPC, PS Maya Puri. NAME AND PROFILE OF ACCUSED 1. Subhash Chand s/o Sh. Gopi Chand R/o H. No. 24, MS Block, Rana Ji Enclave, Najafgarh Delhi, Age- 53 years. He is working as a driver in a factory at Mayapuri for the last many years and known to the deceased as both of them belong to same area of Baghpat, U.P. He has to clear lot of debts as the business of his employer was not good for last couple of years. 2. Amit @ Nitu s/o Suresh Kumar R/o Vill. Dodra, PS- Baraut, Distt. Baghpat, UP, Age – 34 Years. He is carpenter and nephew of Subhash Chand. RECOVERY 1) 2) 3) 4) Mahindra Pickup van No. DL 1LM 1354. 34 plastic bags of cooper scrap weight approx. 2200 Kgs. One stick used in crime. Three mobile phones. INCIDENT, TEAM , ARREST AND INTERROGATION On 08.04.2014, Mr. Jatin Gupta s/o Prakash Chand R/o Rajouri Garden, Delhi reported that he is running a scrap godown at Maya Puri, Delhi. On 07.04.14 at about 5:45 AM he had called one Naresh @ Billu S/o Lt. Sh. Mange Ram, R/o RZ-48/207, Gali No. 6, West Sagar Pur, Delhi at his godown for the delivery of scrap by Mahindra Pickup No. DL-1LM-1354 in the area of Harsh Vihar, Mandoli Delhi. Naresh is a driver cum owner of Mahindra Pick up who is known to Jatin Gupta (complainant). On 08.04.14, at 12 ‘O’ Clock one Subhash S/o Sh. Gopi Chand, R/o House No. 24, MS Block, Ranaji Enclave, Najafgarh Delhi age 53 years came to his office and informed that he alongwith Naresh was going in his vehicle for delivery of scrap. While they reached near Kashmire Gate, 5/6 persons robbed his vehicle, Mahindra Pick Up. Accordingly, Anil who is working in the office of the complainant made a call to Police Control Room. Initial enquiry was conducted at Police Post ISBT and subsequently call was transferred to Mayapuri and a case vide FIR No. 165/14 dated 08.04.14 U/s 365/328/392/302/201/34 IPC, was registered at PS Maya Puri. Immediately, a team consisting of SI Anand Singh, I/C PP ISBT, North District, Inpr Vipin, SHO/Mayapuri, Inpsr. ATO/Mayapuri, SI Pankaj, HC Sukhveer and Ct. Krishan was constituted under the supervision of ACP/TIlak Nagar to conduct investigation of the case. On sustained interrogation, certain contradictions were found in the versions of Subhash Chand and Amit @ Nitu who were accompanying the deceased Naresh in the scrap loaded vehicle. On further interrogation, both broke down and confessed that they were known to the deceased since long and had planned to eliminate Naresh @ Billu to earn money by selling copper scrap loaded in his vehicle. Subahsh Chand and Amit revealed that on the way, they offered one Frooty laced with sedatives, 5/6 pills of ATEVEN-2mg. to Naresh @ Billu who after taking the same became unconscious. Finding opportunity, both strangulated Naresh @ Billu with the help of plastic rope kept in the vehicle. At around 10 AM, when they did not find suitable place to dispose off the body, they left the vehicle abandoned along with dead body of Naresh near Sahibabad Bus Depot, UP. CNG of vehicle was also exhausted, Hence, it was not possible for them to take it to some other location. Thereafter, they narrated this concocted story of vehicle jacking near ISBT Kashmiri Gate to Mr. Jatin Gupta. On this, a case vide FIR No, 165/14, dated 08.04.14, u/s 365/328/392/302/201/34 IPC was registered at PS Mayapuri, and both above accused persons were arrested who led the police team to Sahibabad Bus Depot UP from where scrap loaded vehicle No. DL 1LM 1354 was recovered and the body of deceased Naresh @ Billu was found lying on the front seat with tightened plastic rope around his neck. On further interrogation, it was revealed that both had planned to earn huge money by robbing scarp of the deceased. Subhash has also disclosed that he was working as a driver on Blue Line Bus in Delhi in the year 1997. Later he started working as a driver in a factory at Mayapuri. The body has been sent to mortuary for post-mortem. Further investigation of the case is in progress. The above facts clearly indicate exemplary coordination, cooperation and promptness in the Staff of North District and West District in working out the sensational murder case. COMMISSIONER OF POLICE WEST DISTRICT: NEW DELHI Accused Subhash and Amit Dated 09.04.14 ILLICIT LIQUOR SEIZED AND BOOTLEGGAR ARRESTED The staff of Police Station Punjabi Bagh, West District has apprehended a bootlegger who was carrying a plastic bag and recovered a traveler bag containing 24 halves and 24 quarters of Masaledar Desi Wine (Gulab) vide case FIR No. 276/14 dated 08.04.14 U/S 33 Delhi Excise Act. ACCUSED ARRESTED A bootlegger namely Shanker S/o Peru , R/o Vega Bond Madipur, Delhi arrested in this case. INFORMATION AND OPERATION The staff deployed in beat area was sensitized for keeping watch in the area to nab the bootleggers involved in supplying the illicit liquor so teams were deployed in the area of Madipur. On 08.04.14 HC Narender Singh No. 1658/W & Ct.Sanjay No. 1342/W, & Ct. Amit 1674/W were on patrolling, they received a secret information that a person will come with illicit wine carrying in plastic bag and a traveler Bag. Immediately, a raiding party was formed to nab the bootlegger. At about 1.45 AM, one person came from Cement Siding side and he was stopped and asked about the plastic bags carried by him but he could not reply satisfactorily. On suspicion, it was opened and found 24 half bottles in Bag and 24 quarter bottles in Traveller bags. On counting total 24 Half bottles + 24 quarter bottles of Masaledar Deshi Wine (Gulab) were recovered. The accused has been arrested vide FIR No. 276/14 dated 08.04.14 u/s 33 Delhi Excise Act. INTERROGATION On thorough interrogation, the accused person was found a Vegabond of Madipur, indulging in supplying the liquor to the Bootleggers.
