We are requesting the addition of several classes that have been successfully taught with common course numbers, including: HUM 3XXX Early Christian Humanities, HUM 4XXX Dante’s

Inferno, HUM 4XXX Anthropology of Religion, HUM 4XXX Medieval Folklore.

9. Please provide a concise, yet comprehensive, statement that explains the reasons for requesting the change . Include documentation or assessment information supporting the specific request (if possible).

These courses have proven popular among students. We are submitting them as course proposals for new course numbers, and would like to include them as options in the major.
