The point was made that TRIO/ASPIRE and the HIS grant has much data regarding diversity. Discussed listing of tasks for the Spring. Carol Withers is checking out library for secure location for storage of IAC materials. Committee is supportive of a Saturday workshop for Classified staff in Institutional Assessment. Survey needs to be done with people working in those areas to verify appropriate content and schedule. Posters have been put on CD for final editing and review. Table to Spring Semester. Miramar job description for SLOAC Coordinator. Discussed the role of the Research Symposium in Assessment: Consider having Symposium as part of Honors Program, clubs. Consider having a Student Decisions Continue to work on FLEX program. Dotti and Berta to go to Classified Senate to discuss Classified involvement in Spring FLEX and in assessment in general. June Cressy will also bring this issue to the Classified Senate. Jaime will burn CD’s for handbooks in the spring. Mesa and Miramar both have coordinator positions as a means to lead assessment activities. At City we have embraced our grassroots committee approach. Rubric Evaluation of the various posters.
