Management Theory Presentations
To explore management theories, you will be researching and presenting the details of
one particular theory. This assignment is to be completed in pairs, and communicated to
your class via a formal business-like PowerPoint presentation (maximum of 5 minutes in
length). You will also investigate either a past or present organization as an
example/illustration of your company.
Specific Requirements
 To be completed in pairs;
 Five minutes as a maximum presentation time;
 PowerPoint must be used in at least some parts of the presentation;
 The presentation is to be in business style, following the presentation guide;
 Find an example of a past or present business organization to illustrate your
theory;
 Information about your theory must be taken from the textbook, plus at least one
other source;
 Outline the theory, and the evaluate the theory through a historical or
contemporary ‘lens’ – be sure to use your notes from the course;
 Create a one-page summary of your theory, illustration organization, and
references – this will be copied for your classmates.
