Seniors who lost privileges are to report to school at 9:00 am
Graduation, 9:30 am at Bishop Watterson
Doors open at 8:30 am
Students arrive in Cap and Gown by 9:00 am. Each family will receive only five (5) tickets.
Senior All Night Party, 9:30 pm – 12:30 am
Arrive no later than 10:00 pm.
*Students do not have to participate in the graduation ceremonies (Baccalaureate and Graduation). It is your parents’ and
your choice. However, if you decide to be a part of the graduation ceremonies, you and those invited commit to a positive
code of behavior. Attendance at both events is mandatory. If a student decides not to participate, he/she must have a note
from parents indicating and approving of the decision. This note is necessary prior to May 20. In order to participate in
graduation ceremonies you must be present at all practices for both Baccalaureate and Graduation and be in attendance at
Baccalaureate.
TICKETS FOR BACCALAUREATE AND GRADUATION
Seating for both ceremonies is on a first come basis.
Baccalaureate: Two tickets
Graduation: Five tickets for main gym and/or Dominican Hall
NOTE: There are no replacements for lost tickets.
DRESS FOR BOTH BACCALAUREATE AND GRADUATION IS AS FOLLOWS:
Men – Cap and Gown
 Dress shirt and tie
 Dress pants
 Socks and dress shoes (no sandals,
tennis shoes or boots)
 Sport coat is not recommended
 Must be clean shaven
 No earrings
 Hair must be appropriate length per handbook
Women – Cap and Gown
 Dress or skirt
 Dress shoes or dress sandals – no flip flops
 Between-the-toe dress sandals are permitted
 No nose jewelry
 Gown – worn at Baccalaureate ceremony
 Cap and gown – worn at Graduation ceremony

26 credits including all state and school requirements
All tuition and fees (including lost books, library fines, athletic uniforms, etc.) must be paid/returned.
All fines must be paid and detention hours completed in order to participate in the graduation ceremony
Must attend all Graduation and Baccalaureate practices
VALEDICTORIANS
Valedictorians will be named after fourth quarter midterms. Valedictorians wishing to speak at graduation must indicate such in
writing to Ms. O’Connor by Thursday, May 16th. Judging of speeches will be at 3:30 p.m., Monday, May 20th to determine one
valedictorian who will speak at graduation.
SENIOR AWARDS
Will be based on grades through midterms of fourth quarter senior year.
LOSS OF SENIOR PRIVILEGES INCLUDE


On May 30 and 31, students who have lost senior privileges are to arrive at school at 9:00 am and remain until gym
and grounds are prepared for graduation.
Additional violation = loss of graduation.
FINALS




During senior finals you may be in casual attire. Out of uniform guidelines are to be followed.
If you are required to take a final, be on time.
You are to take your final during the assigned class period. No exceptions.
Writing on uniforms is not permitted at any time. Failure to comply will result in loss of out of uniform privilege for
the entire class during senior finals
