*Chorus of Welcome
“The Family of God”
I’m so glad I’m a part of the family of God—I’ve been washed in the fountain,
cleansed by His blood! Joint heirs with Jesus as we travel this sod;
for I’m part of the family, the family of God.
*Call to Worship
Psalm 107
L: “Give thanks to the Lord, because He is good; His love is eternal!
P: Repeat these words in praise to the Lord, all you whom He has saved.
L: [We] must thank the Lord for His constant love,
for the wonderful things He did for [us].
P: May those who are wise think about these things;
may [we] acknowledge the Lord’s constant love.
*Opening Chorus
“Give Thanks”
Give thanks with a grateful heart; give thanks to the Holy One;
give thanks because He’s given Jesus Christ, His Son. (repeat)
And now let the weak say, “I am strong;” let the poor say, “I am rich,”
because of what the Lord has done for us. (repeat)
[Last time]—Give thanks!
Prayer of Confession (seated and bowed)
Almighty God, our acknowledgement of Your greatness causes us to tremble
and, at times, question our worthiness to approach You. Be merciful, we ask,
to our prayers, and heal the wounds of us all, that as not one of us is free
from fault, so not one of us may be shut out from Your pardon. We ask this
in the blessed name of Jesus Christ, Your Son and our Savior. Amen.

God so loved the world. God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son,
that who-so believeth, believeth in Him should not perish, should not perish
but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn
the world. God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world;
but that the world through Him might be sav-ed.
God so loved the world. God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son,
that who-so believeth, believeth in Him should not perish, should not perish
but have everlasting life, everlasting life, everlasting, everlasting life.
God so loved the world. God so loved the world. God so loved the world.

“Because He Lives” [vs. 1]
# 364
God sent His Son, they called Him Jesus; He came to love, heal, and forgive;
He lived and died to buy my pardon, an empty grave is there to prove my Savior lives.
Because He lives, I can face tomorrow; because He lives, all fear is gone;
because I know He holds the future, and life is worth the living just because He lives.
