Computer aided design, fine tuned by ear – We start out with our cutting edge CAD for
speaker and enclosure modeling. We set setting up the overall design and determining the
potential performance parameters of the speaker system. Then our development team plays and
listens to how the speaker system works and we dial in the tuning and crossover design by hand
until it’s as perfect as we can make it. By the time David’s ready to let anyone else listen to it, it’s
already very close. Our team of testers plays our products with every style and technique they
can come up with to ensure that by the time our clients get to use our products they are truly
world class quality.
Flared/dimpled tuning ports – This new patented technology delivers a stunning performance
improvement over traditional porting systems. The aerodynamically flared porting features audibly
lowers distortion and a much smoother, more efficient air flow than traditional designs can deliver.
We find that this type of design significantly reduces normal port noise and excess turbulence.
With more laminar air flow this patented design gives our enclosures superior low end
articulation, clarity and overall performance. Our 210 and 410 speaker systems feature fully flared
optimized shelf ports on the bottom of the cabinet. All our other cabinet designs feature round
flared ports with a patented aerodynamic dimpling not unlike what gives golf balls there extra lift
and increased range.
Ultra High-power, Hi efficiency edge-wound Aluminum voice coils – Our 10” speaker
designs feature a 2”, Ultra high-temperature voice coil capable of handling 350W RMS/700W
Peak power. The 12” and 15” designs feature massive 3” voice coils to handle 450W RMS/900W
Peak!
Redesigned and Improved speaker cones – Our new custom formula features new materials
and a much higher hemp content for increased durability and enhanced tonal response.
DNA Designed Drivers– We have partnered with top USA OEM manufactures to produce our
speakers and neodymium tweeters right here in the USA. . All our speakers are designed by us
and are manufactured here in the USA. They all feature truly outstanding quality, leading edge
performance and exceptional tone quality.
Tractix Horn design with our old school phenolic dome compression tweeters – This horn
design features an exceptionally smooth polar pattern and uses a very low distortion
Compression plug design coupled to a phenolic diaphragm assembly. This design combination
offers a much sweeter, smoother high end character than the typical metallic diaphragms. Metal
diaphragms often exhibit harsh crystalline metallic overtones and high harmonic distortion levels.
The traditional old school phenolic /cloth diaphragm design typically have a much smoother
sound in the upper registers and significantly lower inherent harmonic distortion than the newer
metallic diaphragms exhibit. The phenolic material is self damping @ high frequencies and rolls
off smoothly vs. the metal diaphragms that tend to ring and chime and produce excessive harsh
often uncontrolled overtones in the upper frequency ranges. Our tweeter design features
significantly reduced ear fatigue and offers a more pleasing character sound with lower distortion
than most other systems.
Professional quality high power full 2-way 12/18dB crossover with automatic tweeter
protection and a unique front-mounted tweeter level control – We have moved well beyond
the normal simple high-pass filter most bass amplifier manufactures use, to a full 2-way crossover
that allows us to fine tune the overall tonal balance for each cabinet design. Auto limiter tweeter
protection, and a user friendly front-mounted tweeter level control complete the package.

We start with the best materials available,
AA void-free plywood for ultra-light enclosures – These designs are lighter than our previous
designs and are even stronger. We use only the highest quality AA furniture grade plywood. Only
material that has no voids or gaps in the interior core, is good enough to be used in our new ultra
high output designs. Dado and Rabbet Joints are used throughout the cabinet designs. This

gives our products very tight joints and extra strong construction that can take a beating and
keep on playing for years and years despite tough handling on the road.
Extensive bracing – This creates a very ridged box that gives us accurate , enhanced Bass
performance and great durability. Massive bracing is part of the ridged design planning. We use
nearly twice as many brace elements as David’s previous designs, this ensures a clean focused
response all the way down to the lowest notes. We have added large
Heavy duty isolation feet to the enclosures to improve Bass performance on diaphragmatic
stages (those flimsy ones that turn the stage into a badly tuned (drumhead). We have provided a
heavy duty 16ga steel grill, black metal corners, corner mounted metal handles (on plastic insert)
, and solid steel input plates for superior durability road worthy construction. .
