PERSONAL
Born 3 April, 1962
PROFILE
Worked since 1983 for engineering companies in flotation of base metal ores (Gintsvetmet) and coal
preparation (IOTT) in Russia, followed by R&D project in flotation theory in Nottingham University
(England). Before joining Cominco Engineering (now known as CPT) as Senior Metallurgical Engineer in
April, 1998, Mikhail held a Senior Process Engineer position with European and Canadian divisions of
Eimco Process, a major American process equipment company, where he was responsible for CIS and
North-East Asian mineral market development and technical sales of process equipment and systems.
He is also an expert on metal industries of the former USSR.
Mikhail is a co-author of Column Flotation book published in Russian, English and Spanish.
