PRESS RELEASE – CHICAGO
WORLD PREMIERE
Another Bone
By Cathy Earnest
Directed by Ian Frank
Opens Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 3pm (also press opening)
Five years later, 9/11 widow Marie is doing fine…and then the bones start arriving
PLAY
Marie is a 9/11 widow who lost her fireman husband in the tragedy. Five years later, she is remarried
to a fine man, and her teenage son is doing well. That’s when the bones start coming—and keep
coming—via Fedex from the NYC authorities. Then a mysterious woman appears, telling Marie she’s
getting the wrong bones. The world-premiere of Another Bone asks the question: how do you move
forward after total devastation, and all the debris that goes with it? Featuring Jeff Award-winner,
Jacqueline Grandt, along with Redtwist company members, Jan Ellen Graves and Michael Sherwin.
