Registered Charity Number: 517775 Lunch Club During Lunch club the children gain a totally different experience to that in a normal session. It is a relaxed and less structured hour during which the children gain valuable social skills to help them in the transition up to school. The atmosphere created is very calm and encourages the children to talk about the foods they are eating, what they taste like and why they like different things, this then often leads to children sharing and trying foods they would normally refuse for us at home! The social interaction and conversational skills are developed without children even realising. Also after lunch the children get a play session during which they get to play with different toys to those available in the normal session. And let’s not forget, it also gives us an extra hour to get the jobs done at home, or even sit down and relax with a hot cuppa! If you would like more information or would like you child to try a Lunch club session please speak to Dianne (Mrs Fleming). Morning Session is £7.25 with lunch club included would be £10.55 Purple Vouchers Uniform Our favourite little book will be available to buy from the Pre School soon. Crammed packed with £thousands worth of local vouchers for only £20. The Pre School receives a £5 donation from each book sold by the Pre School. Items of uniform are available to purchase. Samples are displayed in the foyer and we do have items available to try on. Photographer We have a professional photographer coming In to the Pre School on Thursday 17th October 08:30 – 10:00. If your child does not attend on this day you are still welcome to come along to have their photo taken although due to high attendance on the day they will be unable to come into the session. If you want to bring a sibling along to have a family photo please do so. Message from John Birch -Headteacher of Misson Primary School School Places for Four Year Olds Misson Primary school has always worked closely with Misson Pre School to provide high quality education for our children. I have realised recently that some Pre School parents are unaware of the opportunities Misson Primary School can provide for their children. Children may attend any primary school their parents’ wish as long as that school has places available. Although Misson is in Nottinghamshire the vast majority of our pupils live in Bawtry. Our admissions arrangements differ from other schools as they have been worked out in conjunction with Misson Pre School. We admit children in to school at the start of the term after they have turned four, when they do start school they are able (if parents wish) to attend for full days. The table below shows when your child will be able to start school with us.
