Task
First things first. We are going to play some
alphabet games to review our letters.
For Kindergarten, some letters you will already
know and other letters will be a little new to you.
Just take your time and try your best. RememberPRACTICE MAKES PERFECT!
For First Grade, the first part will be a good way
for you to review your letters. By reviewing them,
you will get ready to make words. Pretty soon
you’ll be reading!
After you play the first set of games and feel
comfortable with your letters, you will be able to
play some games that will help you practice using
the words that you are going to be learning in your
classroom. This may be a bit difficult at first, but
DO NOT get discouraged!! These games are
designed to give you more practice so that you will
be a great reader.
After playing these games you will be able to:

Follow directions on a Webquest

Identify the letters of the alphabet

Match lowercase letters to capital letters

Put the letters of the alphabet in the
right order

Recognize basic sight words
Are you ready? Have Fun!!
Process
There are two groups of games – one to review
your letters and one to practice words. Just
remember, these games are meant to help you get
better, not to discourage you. Keep practicing and
when you can get through each game with no
problem then you know that you are a great
reader!!
