Monday 20th July. 1000-1700
Colinton Dell Adventure. River dipping, raft building, sweep netting, river art, rope
swings, mini beast hunts and river walking. Drop off and pick up outside Harvey Nicks on
St Andrews Square.
Tuesday 21st July. 1000-1700
Explore Dalkeith Country Park. River walking, tree climbing, river dipping, old tree
exploration, shelter building and full size raft building. Drop off and pick up outside
Harvey Nicks on St Andrews Square
Wednesday 22nd July. 1000-1600
Inchcolm Island. Rock pooling, beach art, island exploration, castle exploration,
swimming, beach combing and necklace/bracelet making. Drop off and pick up Hawes
Inn car park, South Queensferry.
Thursday 23rd July. 0945-1715
Dalmeny to Craigie Farm Woodland Experience. Mini beasts, tree climbing, off road
woodland exploration, staff/wand making, mammal tracking and shelter building. Drop
off at Hawes Inn car park, pick up at Craigie Farm.
Friday 24th July. 1000-1700
North Berwick. Tidal rock pooling, beach combing, swimming, coastal rambling and sand
buildings. Drop off and pick up at Waverly station by the main timetable.
Monday 27th July. 1000-1700
Water of Leith ‘Up the river.’ River walking, river dipping, river exploration and river
wildlife observing. Drop off Pizza Express in Stockbridge (next to water of Leith) pick up
Murrayfield ice rink car park.
Tuesday 28th July. 0945-1700
Aberdour Trip. Rock pooling, beach art, hole digging, swimming, coastal rambling and
beach combing. Drop off and pick up at Waverly station by the main timetable.
Wednesday 29th July. 1700-2200
Cammo Estate at night time. Grass throwing, grass tunnel/den making, bat detecting,
badgers, moth sheets and camp fires. Drop off and pick up at Cammo Estate car park.
Thursday 30th July. 0945-1700
Fordell Glen. River walking, tree climbing, river dipping, old tree exploration, shelter
building, wild berry picking and natural tattoos. Drop off and pick up at Waverly station
by the main timetable.
Friday 31st July. 1000-1700
Cramond Island Adventure. Tidal rock pooling, beach combing, shelter building, BBQ, fire
building, island exploring, beach art, mud walking.
Monday 3rd August. 1000-1700
The Dalmeny Estate cycle safari. Explore the beach, woods, fields and hills on your bike.
Drop off and pick up at Cramond Brig car park.
Tuesday 4th August. 0915-1700
Rosslyn Glen Wildlife Experience. River dipping, raft building, ancient tree hugging, deer
spotting, stone skimming, staff/wand carving and woodland exploration. Drop off and
pick up outside Harvey Nicks on St Andrews Square.
Wednesday 5th August. 0930-1700
Awesome Aberlady Bay. Butterfly catching, caterpillar collecting, deer spotting, beach
combing, beach art, sand dune jumping. Drop off and pick up outside Harvey Nicks on St
Andrews Square.
Thursday 6th August. 1000-1700
Bonally experience. Deer spotting, bone collecting, staff/wand carving, dam building,
woodland exploration, mini beasts. Drop off and pick up outside Harvey Nicks on St
Andrews Square.
Friday 7th August. 1700-2200
Costorphine Woods at night. Tree climbing, off road woodland exploration, mammal
tracking, badgers and bats. Drop off and pick up car park on Clermiston Road North.
Monday 10th August.
River Almond and the Cammo Estate. River walking, fish catching, stone skimming, tree
climbing and the odd deer, buzzard and owl! Drop off at Cramond Brig, Pick up at Cammo
Estate car park.
Tuesday 11th August.
The Pentland Hills. Cairn building, butterfly chasing, wild berry picking, natural tattoos
and mountain art. Drop off and pick up outside Harvey Nicks on St Andrews Square.
Wednesday 12th August.
Dalmeny beach at nighttime. Fire building, bread making, raft building, tepee making
and sunset watching. Drop off and pick up at Hawes inn car park, South Queensferry
Costs for summer holiday clubs are £27 per child per activity for first 5 activities booked,
then £23 per child per activity after that.
The trips that involve train travel (North Berwick, Fordell Glen, and Aberdour) and will
have a £3 travel fee added. Incholm Island trip will have a £5 boat trip fee added.
