Mandy Goes on a Cruise
I want everyone to meet my friend Mandy the Mannequin. Mandy wanted me to tell you
her story.
Several months ago, Mandy won a free cruise!!! Well, she had been watching a
lot of Love Boat re-runs and she wanted to find her a man on this trip. So she went to the
mall and bought all of these great outfits, because Mandy was in “the know” about the
newest fashions, and she wanted to look really good for this trip.
Well, the big day finally arrived, and she packed her carry on bag to take on the
airplane with her. In it, she put her toiletries, her accessories, and all of her beautiful
Premier Designs Jewelry, which she had won, because she had been a hostess with me
several times .in the past!
Her plane landed in the Miami airport, and she went to baggage claim to get her
luggage. And you are not going to believe what happened!! You guessed it! Her luggage
did not arrive! Poor Mandy was so upset that she “LOST HER HEAD” Then she pulled
herself together and said,” Okay, I remember at my very first show with my very favorite
jewelry lady (.insert your name), she told me that if I just wore a solid color outfit, I
could make it look like dozens of different outfits just by changing my jewelry and
accessories. Well, what else can I do? All Right, I’ll go for it. After all, I’m already
wearing my solid black dress.”
Then Mandy pulled out her cruise itinerary and this is what she saw:
#1. Meet the Passengers
Well, Mandy wanted to make a great first impression, and she knew that you
never have a 2nd chance to make a 1st impression.
She had started out the day in her little black dress, with a lime green shirt jacket ( just a
shirt unbuttoned).
She put with this the :
Chelsea N and Earrings

Bubbles anklet (this can be made into a necklace by adding 1 or 2 of
Premier’s non-commisionale extenders)
Well , Mandy did make a great 1st impression so she decided to look at her itinerary to see what
was next on the schedule and it was:

Mandy was ready to be a little more dramatic so she put on the :

Discuss how this necklace goes great with the Bohemian styles that
are in. It is a very versatile necklace
For a silver combo she could have chosen:

Picture perfect bracelet
Do the ROSE, Scarf tying trick . Use a zebra print scarf or a black
leopard print. Discuss how animal print is in , and when you add
some animal print to a basic outfit , it makes a dramatic statement,
and it makes you feel “like an animal!”
A little bit of animal print goes a long way, so don’t BUNGLE
THE JUNGLE !!!!
Take the Nora pendant off the necklace and roll up the small
square zebra scarf and run it through the pendant. This makes an
awesome necklace.
Mandy could have also worn:

And paired them with a brown animal print scarf tied as a rosette.
Well, of course, Mandy was a great hit. She went to her room and washed out her dress (ladies,
we need to smell good as well as look good in the high- fashion world) Then she went to bed.
The next morning, she was feeling pretty “sassy” because of all the compliments she received last
night, until she remembered with horror that this was a business/pleasure cruise and she was the
key-note speaker today on board the boat. Well, she began to lose her head again, until she
remembered that her very favorite jewelry lady (insert your name) said to her that when you want
to obtain an instant professional look, just throw on a blazer. Fortunately for Mandy, it was cold
the day she left for the cruise ,and she had worn a blazer on the airplane. So she put on her blazer
and the following set of jewelry:
#3 Mandy’s business presentation
Mandy put on the Bellisimo N and bracelet.
Then because she had heard that layering was in , she added:
The Royalty choices pendant (your color choice) on a 18” silver
chain. She also added the :
Royalty choices earrings.
You can wrap lots of things with Bellisimo. For example:
countess necklace, Lauren necklace, Katrina necklace (beads only),
and Solano necklace (beads only). Also, you could layer it with
Angelina, Trinity etc.
Then she pulled out a scarf ( she had heard that belts out of scarves
were really “in” , and she made a belt with it. She then took the :
Collette N and doubled it (fastened) and swagged it over the scarf.
She tucked the edges in under the back of the scarf and secured it
with a safety pin.
Everyone thought that she so smart, but she just looked like it
because of the professional appearance she conveyed with her
jewelry and jacket.
She also could have put the:
Spiral pin (place top of the pin at base of shoulder pad) It draws
attention from the thighs to the eyes.
High Society earrings
Add scarf to blazer. Blazer is buttoned and you make an ascot. Or
you could do the lariat scarf trick and put the pin on the scarf
Discuss whether or not blazers are more slimming buttoned or
unbuttoned. Answer: unbuttoned. Why? A blazer covers a
multitude of faults. It hides a lot of stuff. Also, when a blazer is
buttoned, it can crinkle up in the back, and ladies on me, It ain’t
pretty!!!!!
In addition, when a blazer is buttoned your eye goes to the color
break which usually falls .again right at the derriere and ladies, it
ain’t pretty.
When a blazer is unbuttoned, your eye goes to the middle and that
is always more slimming. You want to create vertical lines with
your jewelry and clothing to create a more slimming illusion.
Well, Mandy did a super job and she really looked great, but she was ready to shed the jacket and
do what she had been dreaming of for months: Going Shopping in Nassau!!!!!
#4 Shopping in Nassau
She reached into her bag and pulled out her denim vest or
jacket. She wanted to look “sassy” Say it with me ladies---“sassy”
So she put on:
Bailey N
Bailey earrings or
Times Square Earrings. She layered the:
Roma, Lauren, etc;; Bracelets on her arm
Discuss how denim is silver friendly.
She could dress up this ensemble by adding the Alpha pearls with
the Bailey leather cord and adding the Spiral Pendant to them.
Next on the schedule, she saw that she was going to do dinner again, but this time at the captain’s
table (Captain Stubing himself!) She was so excited and boy, did she want to sparkle and shine.
Because ladies, when Mandy had a bad hair day, she just threw on her awesome premier jewelry
and somehow her hair looked great, ‘
And when she felt bluer than blue and lower than a snake’s belly, she just added her Premier
jewelry and she felt like a princess,
And when she didn’t feel like shining, her beautiful Premier jewelry shined for her!!!! So she
added:

Well, Mandy was really impressing a lot of guys and now it was
time for the cruise to be over. She wanted to knock ‘em dead with
what she wore off the boat so she wore:

Put back on her trusty denim jacket

Well, Mandy got off the boat and she had a whole line of guys
following after her and singing, “ oh Mandy” Barry Manilow’s
