NEW JOBS AVAILABLE there are over 35 new jobs posted on the Job Board in the
Career. Stop by before school, after, or during lunch or brunch to check them out. Mr.

JUNIOR CLASS MEETING There will be a junior class meeting on Monday, February 12.
It will be critical that those who want to be part of the “action” attend. Be in room 11 at

SPRING SEMESTER TUTORING Spring semester tutoring will begin next Monday,
February 12. All students are welcome and encouraged to attend. Late bus passes will be
provided for traveling students. Tieffer
DEAN REMINDERS Tardies – three tardies issued lunch detention. First 10 minutes of
class no passes from class. Dean Referrals: White – Student file, Green – Return to
teacher, Yellow – counselor, Gold – Teacher File. After school detention: Tues and

HUNTER HANDBALL TOURNAMENT On Monday, February 12th we will begin sign-ups for
the Hunter Handball Tournament. Sign-ups will be held on the handball courts at lunch. 2
person teams, single elimination (you loss your out), first 32 teams, 1st thru 3rd receive
awards. Tournament begins February 19th. Rose/snyder
AUDITIONS/AUDITIONS Anyone can audition (small parts/ choral for adults too).

BOYS VOLLEYBALL 2007 If you want to play this spring and were not scheduled into
period 6 boys volleyball, see Coach Carbonell in room 17 today at brunch. If you cannot be
enrolled in period 6 Volleyball, you can still come after school. Pick up a packet this week if
you did not play a fall or winter sport. Carbonell

FAFSA & CAL GRANTS FORMS Seniors – you should be working on those financial aid
forms now!! Remember you will need a pin number before you can work on the on line
FAFSA. Don’t get left out on what could mean $1,000 of dollars of college money. Turn in
your confirmation page and Cal Grant form to Ms. Rosso to receive a ticket for the drawings.
That include a free prom bid and grad nite tickets. S. Rosso
FREE CASH FOR COLLEGE Seniors – this Saturday is the day to get your FAFSA
questions answered. Come with your parents – tax forms, 2-2 or check stubs and bank
records. You will have an opportunity to have a one-on-one meeting with a financial aid
counselor. Also your name will go in for a $1,000 scholarship. Come to the College Office

ENGINEERING FIELD TRIP Interested in engineering?? Sign up for an opportunity to
spend a day at Northrop Grumman to learn more about the field – includes breakfast, lunch,
lab tours and a panel discussion on engineering. Come to the College Office for sign ups

SPEECH AND SOCIOLOGY Want to take Speech and sociology but it’s not offered at
Canoga?? Wrong – Pierce is offering those classes and health, vet receptionist and a college
success seminar. See your counselor for concurrent enrollment forms. Classes start next

SENIOR CLASS MEETING There will be a meeting today at lunch in the auditorium. Prom
committee as well as Valentines Day gram committee need to come. We will be discussing

SENIOR T-SHIRTS & SWEATSHIRTS Hey seniors, come to the Student Store and
purchase your senior t-shirt for $12.00 and/or sweatshirt for $25.00. If you want to see
what they look like, stop by room 17 to see a model anytime. We want to wear them for

CAP AND GOWN Herff Jones Company will be taking cap & gown, graduation
announcements and class ring order during nutrition on Tuesday and Wednesday, February
6th and 7th in the quad. Students may also order on Saturday, February 10 th from 12:00 –
1:00 pm in front of school. Ring catalogs with all ordering information are now available in
